Brown Bear, Brown Bear

Boppa Dave bought Harper this book probably a year ago, and it has proved to be one of his favorites. There are a few books that he has memorized, including this one. The others include "Everyone Poops," and "Pete the Cat." He is one smart boy, and I love his voice!

The "Polar Kafress" (Polar Express)

Grampa Jim and Nona got Harper, Aunt Missy and Mommy tickets to ride the Polar Express this year. We went on December 23rd, and Harper had a blast, as you can tell from the below videos. It was SO similar to the movie. I would have to say that Harper's favorite parts were the crazy guy that played the guitar on top of the train (who took a liking to Harper too, and paid special attention to him each time he walked through our car), the cookie of course, and getting his Golden Ticket punched by the "conDUCKturr." Of course he wore his Christmas pajamas, got to sit on Santa's lap (an Elf's too), saw Santa's workshop, got his silver bell, and overall had a great time! Thanks Grampa Jim and Nona!

"Decorating" Cookies with Harper

Before Christmas, Harper and I went to Grammie's to decorate cookies. Check out the techniques that Harper used in the video below!

Dancing King

As you can see in this video, Harper is a better dancer than I ever was, or will ever be. He loves being chased, and hamming it up for the camera. I love him so much.

Checking the Mail

Here is a video of a typical walk with Harper, ending with us checking the mail.

Speaking My Language

Harper is so smart. I realize that every parents believes this about their children, but whatever. My kid is intelligent, witty, creative, imaginative and funny.

And I love it.

He also knows how to use his intelligence to be sneaky and manipulative, as seen in the below video. For now, I don't mind it, and in fact, I enjoy it. Who doesn't want to be told their pretty?

And who doesn't want to hear their children tell them that they love them?
