Hanging out in Albany

Harper loves going to Grammie and Quampa's house...especially when Aunt Missy is in town! He gets to play/torture/feed Shiloh, and gets spoiled rotten! He is so lucky that this part of his family live close enough that they can see him lots and lots!



He likes to climb the stairs now - he can scale the whole set in probably 20 seconds now! (Of course, on of us is right behind him in case he slips!)

Hanging out in Independence

Aunt Missy came home for the weekend, so Harper and I went up to Grandpa and Grandma Healy's house for an afternoon to play! He loves their nice, big house because he has TONS of room to run around, and no baby gates to block him from places!!! He loved getting read to by Grandpa, "helping" Grandma in the kitchen and cuddling with Aunt Missy.

Bathtime

Harper will only take baths a certain way -

1 - Start shower
2 - Get self in shower
3 - Bring Harper in shower with you
4 - Let him play with empty shampoo bottles while you do your shower stuff
5 - When you are done, get out, plug the drain, let the tub fill up, and leave Harper in tub

This is the ONLY way he'll take a bath. If you just put him in the tub, he screams. So, we follow our system!

Gamma KJ and Grandpa Dave

Harper's out-of-state grandparents came to visit him in January! He is lucky that although they don't live nearby, they are always ready to come visit him whenever they can!

Here are some pictures from their visit. His grandparents bought us all a new camera, and we have been using it constantly!!!

This is his new thing to do. Climb up the back of the couch, and onto the desk. Even though he KNOWS he's not supposed to do it, he gets this look on his face like he is SO proud of himself. Here he is trying to help Grandpa Dave with his computer problems =)

1st Birthday!!!

Harper James turned 1 on January 6th! He had a pizza party at Papa's Pizza, and here is a list of everyone that came to party with him -

He got lots of wonderful gifts and hugs! And although Papa's Pizza is famous for their indoor playground, he spend a good 1/2 hour walking up and down the wheelchair ramp by our table! He had a blast!!!
